Athletics Middle School Boys Football

Rennie Atkinson is entering his 48th year in education and coaching with 20 of those years at 皇冠体育官网. In his career, he has worked at 8 private schools in his native South Carolina and Georgia, serving as an athletic director, several positions including head coach in varsity football, as a head basketball coach for both boys and girls for 18 years, head baseball coach for 8 years, and head track coach for 30 years. His teams have won a number of region, area, and state championships. Currently he serves as an assistant with the boys varsity basketball program at 皇冠体育官网.

Coach A, as he is known to his students and players, also teaches AP European History, AP U.S. History, and CP U.S. History. He was named the school’s Teacher of the Year in 2010 and Star Teacher in both 2017 and 2022.
